EducationUSA Academy Summer 2020 Registration Open

EducationUSA Academy at UW-Madison is a life-changing opportunity experience for international students to engage in learning on a U.S. university campus. This college-preparatory program works to support WIDA’s mission of helping multilingual learners from around the world to reach their full academic potential, learn about higher educational opportunities in the U.S. and increase their global awareness.

At the EducationUSA Academy, high school students from around the world spend three weeks on Madison’s campus under the track Entrepreneurship in Sustainability and Design. Through hands-on learning, student will engage with faculty, staff and students in Business, Engineering & Environmental Protection fields. They will engage with peers in meaningful discussion, designing a product & business plan, cultural exchanges, and community service projects. Students will also tour three additional higher education institutions in the region, learn about the university admissions process, and visit nearby attractions such as Chicago and water parks on the weekend. It promises to be a truly authentic experience on an incredible campus at a world-renowned university!

Madison, the capitol city of Wisconsin, is continuously recognized as one of the safest and best cities in which to live in the U.S. Located on an isthmus between four beautiful lakes, the community provides a famous Midwestern welcome to students and visitors from around the world. UW-Madison is recognized as 6th in National Research Expenditures and 25th in World University Rankings.
