WIDA eSummit: Facebook Live Session and Session Recordings

The first WIDA eSummit session will stream live on Facebook! Watch for the session Introduction to the design and navigational features of the WIDA ELD Standards, 2020 Edition on Facebook Live, October 12th at 1 p.m. CT.

Presented by Margo Gottlieb and Fernanda Marinho Kray, this session provides an orientation to the 2020 Edition of the WIDA ELD Standards. Participants in this session will get an advanced peek into what’s inside the document and learn how to access publications.  We will cover key points around the release of the 2020 Edition, including: what ELD standards are/are not; reasons for the update; intended audiences; organization of the 2020 Edition; as well as other features of design and navigation such as Big Ideas, the WIDA ELD Standards Framework, and grade-level materials.

Recordings and downloadable resources from the eSummit will be available to international member schools in the WIDA International Secure Portal after the event.
