Selena Franklin is a Marketing Specialist at WIDA. Selena and the conference team plan the logistics and communication efforts of the WIDA Annual Conference.

In order to carry out this popular event, she conducts market research, creates messaging, and generally engages in the activities needed to be sure that you receive the information needed to support your multilingual learners. Selena has more than 10 years of experience in conference and event planning, with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Business from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She has worked for WIDA for more than six years in a variety of roles and is very passionate about supporting the important work of educators. To that end, Selena continuously strives to better understand the needs of students and teachers, and provide them with the best experiences possible.
