Andrea Mercado is a Professional Learning Facilitator at WIDA. As a second generation Colombian Americanand heritage Spanish language speaker, she joins the WIDA Español team and strives to support and resource educators working with Spanish bi/multilingual students. Before WIDA, she worked in Florida, New York and Maine with multilingual learners in multiple capacities for over 20 years.
