Erika Rosales is an Outreach Coordinator at WIDA. In her role, Erika assists the Early Years program grow relationships with states, districts, organizations, and families. Along with her external outreach efforts, she also assists with needs assessments, compiling information on research and policy, and helps with the development of Early Years documents as resources. Previously Erika was part of the WIDA Client Services Center where she assisted administrators and educators in the U.S. and internationally by providing information regarding WIDA's assessment process and resources. Prior to that Erika worked at Head-Start as a bilingual family outreach worker.
Erika holds a bachelors degree in International Studies and a minor in Psychology. She is currently part of the Cultural Foundations of Education graduate program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Also, she serves on the Board of Directors at Literacy Network of Dane County, where she also tutors four adults learning English as a second language.
