Swati Chauhan

Accessibility and Inclusion Assessment Specialist

Swati Chauhan is an Accessibility and Inclusion Assessment Specialist at WIDA on the Assessment team. Swati has extensive experience in developing engaging curriculum, assessments, and professional learning experiences through various roles in her career. Previously, Swati served as an Education Program Development Specialist in various offices within a state department of education. Notably, Swati served as the state assessment coordinator for the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) assessments and the ACCESS suite of assessments. Swati has also contributed to assessment development at Smarter Balanced and Educational Testing Service (ETS), where she worked on the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Reading, Writing, and Technology and Engineering Literacy (TEL) assessments. Swati also brings classroom experience from her time teaching English at the high school level. Swati lives in New Jersey with her husband and her two feline companions, and is pursuing a doctorate in education at Rutgers University.
