Yu-Li is a Coordinator for the Consortium and State Relations team, supporting department events, activities, communications, and initiatives. Before joining WIDA, she was a project coordinator at the UW–Madison Division of Continuing Studies, supporting professional degree program growth. Yu-Li's professional experience at UW–Madison has included providing administrative support for NSF-funded international research collaborations at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center and teaching as a graduate instructor in the History Department. She has also worked as a subtitle translator, English tutor, and instructor at Madison's local Chinese school. Her connection to UW began as a visiting student from Taiwan during her senior year — Wisconsin’s long winter months did not scare her!
Yu-Li holds an M.A. in History from UW–Madison and a B.A. in Foreign Languages and Literatures from National Taiwan University. She enjoys exploring nature, building memories with family and friends, and transforming her suburban backyard into a food forest.
