For the last three years, Annemarie has been responsible for the systems to schedule, monitor, and track WIDA professional learning events across the WIDA Consortium. In this role, she communicates with State Education Agents to coordinate their selections of professional learning events and assists with enrolling participants in the workshops. She works closely with the team of professional learning specialists to assign facilitators to the over 200 events scheduled annually. In addition, she serves as a moderator for virtual workshops, assisting with technical issues related to the webinar conferencing technologies.
Previously, Annemarie worked at WIDA for two years as a coordinator for the Research & Development department at WIDA. Annemarie has a background in marketing, working with varied groups - from international brands to local charities - strategizing on marketing projects, researching ideas, and planning events. She has a bachelor's degree in political science from Kenyon College, in Gambier, OH.
