Description

This workshop and its materials give teachers a clear, practical overview of the WIDA Standards Frameworks and how to use them when planning instruction that supports the language development of bi/multilingual learners. It also includes a variety of classroom‑focused examples to show what this looks like in practice.

Note: The offering is primarily in Spanish and includes resources in English and Spanish.

Audience

This offering is designed for Spanish and English bilingual K–12 educators, administrators, and support staff who assess language development in a bilingual context.

Articulate the value of classroom assessment for language development in bilingual contexts
Apply the exemplar microtools and multimodal resources created and curated by WIDA Español
Customize assessment tools and resources to fit their context
