Department of Defense Education Activity

Member of the WIDA Consortium since 2018.


Schools operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity use Kindergarten W-APT and WIDA Screener Paper (for Grades 1-12) to identify English language learners (ELLs). ACCESS for ELLs is given to all ELs during the annual testing window, which typically takes place from mid-January through early March. Please visit the DoDEA Comprehensive Assessment System (DoDEA-CAS) website for more information.

3/27/20 Deadline for DRC to receive test materials to be included in regular reporting
4/15/20 Pre-reporting data validation – Data file to SEA
5/27/20 Districts receive reports – Online

6/3/20 Post-reporting data validation - Data file to SEA
