Schools operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity use Kindergarten W-APT and WIDA Screener Paper (for Grades 1-12) to identify English language learners (ELLs). ACCESS for ELLs is given to all ELs during the annual testing window, which typically takes place from mid-January through early March. Please visit the ESOL Assessment Page on the DoDEA website for more information.
