All Corporation Test Coordinators (CTCs) and WIDA Test Coordinators (WTCs) are required to successfully complete the Online ACCESS for ELLs: Administration training course. Many components of this training course pertain to test coordinator tasks and responsibilities.
Test Administrators (TAs) must successfully complete the WIDA assessment training courses for the corresponding WIDA assessments (Screener and ACCESS) they are responsible for administering. Training courses are accessed via the WIDA Secure Portal and delivered in Canvas. Contact your CTC or WTC if access is needed for the WIDA Secure Portal or a specific training course.
Please see pages 16 and 17 of the 2023-2024 WIDA Assessment Guidance for detailed information on training requirements for this school year. An Assessment Training Checklist for Test Administrators is available in Appendix B.
