Training Requirements

The Corporation Test Coordinator (CTC) or WIDA test coordinator designee assigned to the District Coordinator user role is required to complete some components of the WIDA ACCESS Online Grades 1-12 Training Course. Please see Appendix A of Indiana’s 2020-2021 WIDA Assessment Guidance for a checklist of which modules are associated with tasks for this role and required for completion. The course quiz is not required for CTCs or designees.

Test Administrators must successfully complete the WIDA assessment training courses and quizzes for the corresponding WIDA assessments, placement or annual, they are responsible for administering. A score of 80% or higher on quizzes is required for certification to administer the test. Training courses, associated materials, and quizzes are accessed in the WIDA Secure Portal. Contact your CTC or designee if access is needed for the WIDA Secure Portal or a specific training course.

Note: Test administrators must have completed training within two years (24 months) of the date they are administering the test. Administering assessments without meeting the training requirements may results in test invalidations.
