Anna Rhoad-Drogalis is an Associate Researcher in the Research, Policy, and Evaluation Department at WIDA. Anna’s work has been focused on improving educational opportunities for students through mixed methods and quantitative education research that can be applied to inform policy and support evidence-based decision making. She provides research support to the Advancing Alternate English Language Learning Assessment (Advancing ALTELLA) project that focuses on English Learners with the significant cognitive disabilities. Anna’s current research interests also include early childhood development, family engagement, social-emotional learning, and quantitative research methods.
Anna has a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in quantitative methods from the University of Pennsylvania. She also completed a postdoctoral research position at the Crane Center for Early Childhood Research and Policy at the Ohio State University.
