This month’s featured educator, Alma Maldonado, works with K-5 multilingual learners in Dinwiddie, Virginia. She was a multilingual student herself and her experiences motivate her to help the students and families in her community.
Anna Levy is an EL teacher with Metro Nashville Public Schools in Nashville, Tennessee. Anna teaches eighth grade.
Dr. Christel Broady is a teacher trainer in the graduate program at Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. She became the school's ESL program director in 2004.
