Rachel Burrell's work with multilingual students is motivated by her belief that education has the power to positively impact students' lives.

This month's featured educators, Jori Ruff, works with Kindergarten through Grade 5 multilingual learners in Baraboo, Wisconsin. She was selected, in part, because of her dedication to raising achievement for all students by providing support to teachers in a coaching capacity and through professional development.

Sandy Moller has been chosen for the September, 2018, WIDA Featured Educator after being highly praised by her Assistant Principal and Superintendent.  Their praise described her teaching abilities, connections with students, collaboration with staff, positive rapport with families, constant quest to grow professionally, and deep understanding of the multiple lenses needed for school leadership.

Gwendolyn Quadri is an ESL specialist at West Lee Middle School in Sanford, North Carolina. Gwendolyn is in her ninth year of teaching and fifth year at West Lee.

Amanda teaches at Margaret Allen Middle Prep in Nashville, Tenn.
