Margarita Ugalde is a home care provider in Madison, WI. She runs a bilingual center supporting children ages 3 months to four years old. She tailors her instruction to meet the needs and interests of her young dual-language learners.

Ying Ong taps into her own experience as a multilingual learner to support her students and collaborate with her colleagues in Aurora, Colorado. She enjoys continually challenging her own learning and that of her students.

Abigail Billman has been chosen for the October 2018 WIDA Featured Educator due to her amazing rapport with her students and her passion for creating a school environment that is rigorous, challenging, safe and supportive.

WIDA is developing a 2020 edition of its English Language Development Standards. At this stage in the process, WIDA seeks input from the public to help ensure the standards serve as an important tool for the multilingual community.
