WIDA offers supplemental assessment workshops and webinars for test administrators and others supporting multilingual learners who take our ACCESS, Screener and MODEL assessments. These workshops and webinars are more comprehensive than the required certification courses and are available for purchase to bring to your school or district.
This WIDA MODEL supplemental webinar series is for educators who are preparing to administer the WIDA MODEL Online assessment for grades 1-12. WIDA MODEL can be used as an identification/placement assessment for newly enrolled multilingual learners or as an interim progress monitoring assessment. During this series, participants will learn how to administer and score each of the four domain assessments as well as how to navigate and perform key functions in the MODEL Online Test Administrator Interface.
The ACCESS for ELLs score reports provide specific information on students' academic English language proficiency. In this webinar, participants will examine the different types of reports, and their connection to the WIDA Standards and Assessment System, and how these reports can serve as a tool to initiate discussion on instruction.
This supplemental workshop is for test administrators of the WIDA MODEL (Measure of Developing English Language) Online. WIDA MODEL is a series of English language proficiency assessments for Kindergarten through grade 12. However, WIDA MODEL for Kindergarten is only available in a paper kit format.
