Dr. Christel Broady is a teacher trainer in the graduate program at Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. She became the school's ESL program director in 2004.

Barbara Kwan is an ESL teacher for K-5 students at Horace Mann Elementary School in Newton, Massachusetts. Barbara has taught English language learners in Newton Public Schools for over seven years and is in her third year at Horace Mann.

"I loved the Master Cadre because it reinforced my belief in the importance of embracing culture and diversity and in supporting children with their born language. It also gave me a chance to reflect on my teaching and on our program and to think about our best practices and partnerships and about how best to support our dual language learners. Margarita Ugalde is a home care provider in Madison, WI. She runs a bilingual center supporting children ages 3 months to four years old. She tailors her instruction to meet the needs and interests of her young dual-language learners.

Ying Ong taps into her own experience as a multilingual learner to support her students and collaborate with her colleagues in Aurora, Colorado. She enjoys continually challenging her own learning and that of her students.
